Overview

Join our team as an Administrative Specialist and take charge of managing invoices and administrative duties to provide our clients with the GOAT Logistics management experience. We're seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of performing detailed tasks in a B2B environment and working with accounting-based software. The ideal candidate is someone who can adapt quickly to changes, learn on the fly, and adjust solutions to meet our stakeholders' needs. With excellent communication and customer service skills, you'll be the go-to person for clients, carriers, and internal teams alike.

 

Goals and Objectives

  • Improve cash flow by reducing the average days to receive client payment through best practices.
  • Assist in the upkeep of precise reporting metrics by reconciling Quickbooks, Bill.com, and TMS software daily.
  • Keep accurate records on clients and carrier profiles, such as credit terms, payment preferences, and contact information.
  • Achieve high accuracy when handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, claims filing, collections, credit checks, bookkeeping, reporting, office management, and other administrative duties in our business.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to carrier partners to improve the success rate of claims/discrepancy resolutions.
  • Improve the experience for everyone involved by taking a proactive and solutions-focused approach while keeping the communication persistent.
  • Ensure timely payment to carriers to enhance our credit terms with partners.
  • Establish and uphold robust connections with every stakeholder to ensure an exceptional experience.

 

This role will present the opportunity to:

Requirements:

  • Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or other accounting software
  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience is a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • A high degree of detail in daily work and other projects
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and operate in a fast-paced environment
